Adding a Standard Action
To add a new action to the checklist, click the New Action icon (above) at the top of the checklist or from the right-click menu.
PurposeThis option adds a standard action (or set of actions) to the checklist. Depending on your access right, this option may be disabled, as normally all standard actions will exist within the checklist when it is copied to the project. However, if your organisation only copies actions to the checklist when they are needed (ie. When a certain stage is reached), then it may be necessary to manually add standard actions. Adding a standard action is similar to adding a quick action, except that the document is not produced at the same time.
Operation
Select the Action code to add by clicking the Action Code ellipses (…) button. This will open a list of actions to choose from. The actions available will depend on the action currently selected in the checklist: Only actions which are siblings of the currently selected action will appear in the list. For example, • If action 2.02 is selected, then only actions such as 2.03, 2.04 etc. may be added.
If a parent action is chosen, then all child actions will also be added.
