Classification Codes

Purpose

Project Classification Codes are designed to identify the class or type of project. These are used by the reporting system to group similar projects together so that a unit cost may be derived for comparison purposes.

They also form profit and loss headings against which the performance of an organisation may be measured.

NOTE: The following fields are all stored in the CLASSCOD database table.

Item	Database Item	Description
Block	classification	A short code to identify the record
Name	classification_name	A description for the record.
Annual Budget / Target	annual_budget
Available for use?	avail_for_use	Un-tick this checkbox if you no longer wish the code to appear in lookups
