Email Configuration

Purpose

This section can be referred to if you are having problems sending emails from TimemasterWeb.

Additional Information

There are various sections within TimemasterWeb which require email functionality. This functionality will only work correctly if a default email program defined.

To configure the default email program in Internet Explorer 7;-

1.Open Internet Explorer 7.

2.Click Tools > Internet Options.

3.Click the Programs page.

4.Select your chosen e-mail program from the e-mail list.

5.Click OK.

Windows 8

Setting your default mail software.

1.Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs

2.Click 'Set your default programs'

3.Select your email client software i.e. Microsoft Outlook

4.Select 'Choose defaults for this program'

5.Select the protocol 'mailto'

6.Click the 'Save' button

Changing your default mail software.

1.Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs

2.Click Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program'

3.Select the protocol 'mailto'

4.Click 'Change program'

5.Select your preferred mail client software
