Secondary Windows

Some reports and resourcing views open up detailed views in secondary windows. Most browsers allow you to choose whether the secondary window should open in a separate browser window or a separate tabbed page.

This section shows how you can change the settings in common browsers.

Internet Explorer 8

In Internet Explorer 8, select Tools and Internet Options

On the General page, click the button called Settings alongside the Tabs section.

In the When a pop-up is encountered: group

•        Let Internet Explorer decide

Select the option you prefer from the above list.

Firefox 7.0.1

In Firefox, select Tools, followed by Options

Change to the Tabs page using the icons at the top of the page.

Check or un-check the setting:

•        Open new windows in a new tab instead
