Setting Alerts
Purpose
You can set up alerts for when tasks exceed or approach their target cost, or for when target dates are overrun. Alerts may only be sent to the project leader, service leader or task leader.
The alert setting for each task is copied from the template project, so if you want to make extensive use of alerts, then make sure your template projects have the correct settings.
Operation
There are two components to set up.
| 1) | Define who should be notified. |
| This is done at each task level from within the Task Dates page |
| 2) | Define what they are notified about. |
| This is done for each user from within the Task Alerts section on the Message Options page as shown below;- |
| Note: the percentage figures used for the 'Target Reaching x%' can be set in the Windows Application > Setups > Control Codes > Control Parameters > Fees and Targets tab page. |
