Skill Level List

 

Purpose

Skill levels are used as a means of grading how competent a staff member is at a particular skill.

 

Operation

 To create a new staff staff skill codes, click the New button.

 To edit or delete staff skill details, click the edit options on the in-line menu for the row you wish to edit.

Skill Level

A numeric value to determine the skill level i.e 5 = High, 3 = Medium, 1 = Low

Description

A description of the skill class

Notes

Any additional notes applicable to the class

 

Additional Information

For example; there could be a staff member who has a skill of ‘Customer Liaison’. (S)he may have only limited experience so you may want to assign a low skill level. However, you may also have a staff member who has 25 years experience of ‘customer liaison’. In this case you would give them a high skill level.
