Copying Timesheet Lines

It is fairly common for users to work on the same projects from week to week. The Copy button enables users to copy the contents of a timesheet from one week to another.

This copy facility does not copy hours as these are specific to the original time bookings.

You can opt for timesheet lines to be copied automatically each time you open a new week’s timesheet. The option is in your Timesheet Options.

You cannot select specific timesheet lines to be copied, ALL lines for the particular week are copied.

Copy from which week	Allows the user to scroll through historical weeks.
Copy button	Confirms the selected week as the week which will now be copied to the current timesheet.
Cancel button	Cancels from the screen and returned the user to the Timesheet screen
Copy Completed Projects	Allow completed projects to be copied across.
Copy All Timesheet Lines	Copy all the timesheet lines
Copy Notes	Include any notes which were entered on the selected timesheet to be copied.
Copy Activities	Include the activities from the selected timesheet to be copied.

When the Copy button is clicked, the timesheet lines are saved into the current weeks timesheet and the hours worked can be entered. New timesheet lines can be subsequently added. Timesheet lines that are no longer required can be manually deleted.
